The message may be, "Be careful what you wish for," but the new trailer for
Into the Woods now has us wishing for more and expecting a lot from director Rob Marshall's film adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim/James Lapine Broadway musical. This is not going to be your typical Disney fairy tale. The woods are dark and forbidding and the characters in it conflicted and a bit selfish. Bad choices and dire consequences are at hand.
In addition to the new trailer, Disney has released some pretty cool character images. They're compelling and just a little eerie.
